Single-Stage vs. Two Stage Bypass Motors Two-stage bypass motors provide discharge of vacuum air from the fan case with a separate fan system to cool the motor. Clean air is drawn into the top of the motor and discharged through motor housing vents protecting the motor from direct exposure to moisture and contaminants that could affect its performance. Vacuums with two-stage bypass motors are more expensive, but last significantly longer than vacuums with single stage motors.

Nilfisk GM80 Hepa Filter Vacuum

Lightweight and portable, the Nilfisk GM80 is a versatile machine providing the durability and performance required by dust control professionals.  Featuring a 3-1/4 gallon tank capacity, it can be used in both portable and stationary applications.  It features a standard multi-stage filtration system with a paper dust bag, main filter, microfilter and HEPA exhaust filter.  In the first stage of separation, a disposable paper bag captures the bulk of collected debris.  Extra large main filter ensures a steady, even airflow which extends filter life and eliminates premature clogging.  The optional microfilter, a final step in pre-filtration protects the motor and acts as a barrier to even bacteria-size particles.

HEPA filter ensures that 99.97% of all ultra fine particles, toxic and nuisance, are retained - down to and including 0.3 microns.  Motor thermal protection device prevents overheating caused by failure to keep filters clean or by accidental blockage in a nozzle or hose.  Ball-joint coupling give 360° freedom of movement without hoses splitting and cracking, while eliminating knots.  Heavy-duty trolley adds mobility.  Glides over all surfaces.

Ridgid Vacuum Quick Connect Pump Accessory

An ideal tool to eliminate water without transporting the vacuum up and down stairs. Install the pump on the drain port of the vac and secure a standard garden hose to the pump. Run the hose vertically and out a window for liquid disposal. The pump secures to any RIDGID vac with a drain and enables the shop vacuum to pump 10 gallons of water per minute up to 40 ft. high.
