Husqvarna K970 Gas Powered Ring Saw

A saw that is just as handy, maneuverable and versatile as an ordinary gas-powered saw. What makes this different than a standard gas-powered saw is that with Husqvarna’s unique Ring Saw Blade technology, it can quickly and easily cut through 10" walls, ceilings and floors from one side. Since the widest part of the cutting blade is inside the material, over cutting in the corners can practically be eliminated. The result is more efficient work with cleaner cuts and fewer touch ups. Another advantage, there is less digging when cutting around pipes that are lying in trenches.  Features a unique, active air filtration system which prevents dust from damaging the engine thereby dramatically reducing maintenance and downtime costs, while extending the life of the saw. Three independent filter systems work to separate dust from the intake air. System 1 uses the centrifugal force of the engine flywheel to remove 80-90% of the dust before it enters the second filtration system. System 2 consists of a three layer, oil saturated foam filter trap capturing the remaining dust. System 3 is a pleated paper filter used solely as a safeguard in case of poor maintenance of the foam filter. Also features a decompression valve which reduces the force required to start the engine by 50% thereby reducing stress and wear on the starter cover, rope and pulley. Anti-vibration system for operator comfort. Item 10-2636 includes one ring saw blade 10-2643 (general purpose blade).
