These chests are constructed from 18 gauge double walled steel construction. The cap-end construction ensured that the chest covers are durable and weather tight. Chest top covers are constructed with full piano hinge; drawers are rolled or hemmed at exposed edges for increased strength. One key secures the entire cabinet with the automatic locking system – the tumbler lock automatically triggers the double lock bar securing all cabinet drawers once the cover is closed and locked. The exterior has an electro-deposited baked-on red enamel finish that is tough and easy to maintain.
